Welcome to the wondrous world of BROW EXTENSIONS.
How do eyebrow extensions work?
Turns out getting perfect eyebrows is actually pretty quick and painless, and appointments rarely go beyond 45-60 minutes.
Here are the typical steps in the process:
1. Clean and prep the brows. And though it may be counterproductive, don't be surprised if they also pluck away any stray hairs falling outside the brow line. This is all part of establishing the perfect eyebrow shape.
2. Outline your new brow shape. Don't be alarmed if the drawn or stenciled line looks cartoonish, as it's merely a guide. The technician will know how to place the brows to make the look seem as natural as possible.
3. Affix the extensions. With a surgical-grade adhesive, technicians will apply the extensions one-by-one to the natural brow hairs or directly to the skin, depending on your needs. Keep in mind, your finished brows won't look perfectly symmetrical. But this is a good thing, since natural brows aren't perfect either and a little asymmetry will help make them more genuine.
How long do eyebrow extensions last for?
Most women are so ecstatic that they're really gentle with it so it lasts a couple of weeks. It can last up to three weeks, but typically you want to come in for a fill every two weeks to keep it really fresh and clean. The good thing about the extensions is that even when they do shed, it's not obvious.
Eye Brow Tinting
Unlike shaping waxing, threading, or tweezing, brow-tinting is a color service that doesn't take away any hair (although you can do so in conjunction with hair removal) but uses semi-permanent vegetable dye to enhance color, shape, and thickness — or all of the above. The benefits are immediate.
How long does it last?
Tints typically last 4-6 weeks, but it can vary from person to person. Some clients see the tint start to fade after two to three weeks. You can help extend your dye job by keeping brows moisturized. Tinting can be applied every 4-6 weeks. Client should avoid oil based moisturizers, face washes and any oil based face products for it will break down the tint faster. It is perfectly fine and safe to take a shower after tinting.
